The American Cancer Society has volunteer drivers to treatment. I think you would have to check with the welfare office/human services about help with food.

Try United Way they can either help or guide you in the right direction. I believe there should be a part of the Cancer Society that helps patients financially when they have cancer I often wonder where all the research dollars go and why the Adminisistration costs are so high at all the Cancer Society Offices. Manitoba it's a Province in Canada is furious because 40% of the donations have been going to Administration and that is too high for a non profit. Good luck

You can get a hold of her social worker (where she gets treatment) and they can submit paperwork to American Cancer Society who can help in some of that cost as well, IF you qualify under their guidelines.
