If God is the one who brought Israel back by using people, their money and weapons as tools, is there any such thing as free will? Don't forget about the keywords of the question -- "self fulfilled prophecy".

How could God's Promised Land be so weak that it has to rely on the welfare and resources of other nations in order to survive?

If it is God who changes the hearts and minds, is he responsible for Muslims hearts and minds too? It seems to contradict the meaning of "Free Will".

They no longer have a promised land ,they were thrown out of it nearly 2,OOO years ago. Israel was not bought back by those means, though I accept it is probably kept in existance by them. It is weak, because they are still being punished, thoguh not as weak as all that.

They got 'Israel' back, because they became terrorists soon after the war in the Brtish Mandate of Palestine so that to keep the Mandate managable, they split some off and gave ito the Israelies by the Balfour declaration of 1947. In my view it was a prophecy fullfilled.

I do not actually believe they did it to fufill the prochecy, merely to have a place for all the Jews who were displaced in Europe after WW2

God's will, will always be done. You were created for His pleasure, not yours. You have free will to choose or not choose Jesus Christ, other than that, God is in control. God has fulfilled every prophecy prophesied by His prophets. God's prophets never prophecy incorrectly.

Keep your eyes on Israel and you will eat your remarks, because God will defend Israel. As a Christian I am to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and I am to bless the Jews. You failed to realize that 5 nations came against Israel and that little bitty group of people won the victory.

You are closing your eyes and you need to keep them open. God doesn't rely on man, God uses man to do His will. I surrender to the will of God.

It is God who changes the hearts and minds. When God stands up to fight for Israel, you will know Almighty God defends His land.

Oh please.. Keep watching. In fact, study a little bit of history in the meantime. Do you have any idea how many specific prophesies about Israel have been fulfilled? Are you going to call ALL of them self-fulfilled? For example, Israel becoming a deserted wasteland, and later flourishing? Or the Israelites being persecuted and scattered in the first place? Or the fact that tiny little Israel has stood up against many larger armies and miraculously won? That's all coincidence? Ok. You say coincidence, I say God. We'll see who's right at the end of the day.

God has this thing about taking from the unrighteous, although He may allow them to accumulate wealth, and using it for His righteous purposes.
If you are old enough to remember the reason the state of Israel was formed was because no one wanted the Jews. So they were dumped in the desert in the only place the world powers could claim as theirs and promised arms, jobs money and protection.
Now we and Great Brit-ton are turning away from those promises and our nation is paying because of it. That's What happens when you curse God's land or His people.
The Zionist have very little political power in Israel and none elsewhere.
They are just waiting for their turn. Coming soon.

No. Why does it have to be Jews and Jews only who brought Israel into existence? I think this is a silly question. We, the US, should not interfere with Israel by asking them to give Palestine some land.

The land belongs to the Jews by God's doing.
