Best? -- people who help others... the ones that think & act immediately, heroes and ordinary people coming in at the time of need, those that volunteer & devote lives for others (clergy, teachers, police, firemen, civil servants that actually work)... those that defend others, protect and serve, establishing a Rule of Law, take up battle for the right reasons, and keep others from harm, even leave a seat for a pregnant woman, give to the poor, respect & care for others in 1,000 ways.
Worst? -- people who harm others. This is part of human nature.. that Might is Right. Plundering, raping has been going on forever with humans, taking, trying to avoid capture & results, from teenagers that are lighting fires across SoCal right now recklessly (unreported) to get their areas on TV, to awful crimes committed by people who don't think they'll get caught across all aspects of life (& potential victims), the Scammers, the shameless, the reckless, high-speed drivers in places where someone might he walking, the self-possessed, the self-absorbed, those that think of gain at any cost vs. affect on others. And Realtors.

My opinion -
worst is mob mentality
The best is humans can be empathetic and come to the aid of others in need. I think this tends to be on a more grass roots level. My hope rests here.
I am saddened by some of the other responses.....

The best part is the freedom that the usa gives to each of us.
The worst part is like, Islam states not allowing freedoms, such as they aren't allowed to read anything that involves Jesus in it, or they get be-headed...
