When do you think that you are destained to somebody?

Yes. All of my life I had the feeling that someone was missing, someone who I couldn't name but I just knew someone was missing. When I was pregnant with my first baby the bigger my belly got the less I had that feeling. When she was born and I saw her face I felt an amazing sense of "Oh, I was missing you".
I was single with her and fine and single and successful and happy to be single and I avoided dating because I just didn't want the hassle of accommodating a man in our lives. I by chance went away for the weekend with my daughter and parents to a place I hadn't been in 12 yrs. I wasn't there 20 minutes when I heard my Dad say "Hi Pete". I looked up and stopped breathing. I was terrified of how my body reacted. He followed me around for 3 days and when I was sitting on a picnic table seat and he was on the table part and too close for my comfort I put my forearm on his knee and tried to push him away and he held my hand. I didn't want a man, or a husband or another child. I had no choice, I am grateful that he and my son are part of my destiny.

No, I believe you become what you become because of the actions you take in life. Of course there is always an element of good or bad luck involved but "destiny" seems to imply that events are predetermined and I don't believe in that.

No...that would make us all nothing more than puppets acting out some script.
I believe in cause and effect...action and reaction..some things are destined to happen because of what triggered them (you drop a rock in water, ripples are destined to occur) but as far as people (esp lovers) being "destined" to be together? That's just romantic thinking.

I believe in free will and the ability to make choices. I think that the actions of other people, circumstances over which I have no control (where I am born, natural gifts I cay have) can influences directions I may travel,
but the final choices are mine. My life is what I make it and how I respond to the actions of others.

i believe in destiny from the experience more so than the romantic side of it. You know they are the one when you can't see your self without them. A wise man always said, "He will never be for you if you can't even imagine yourself with him in the future."
Oh and the word is destined :)

yes, I think everyone has their own destiny but you alter your destiny with things you do in life, and different paths you follow. i think everything you do in life has an effect on what happens in the future

l think am destined when l try to leave someone with no luck whatsoever and they keep coming back to me even after years of getting away from them..
