Absolutely. My cat used to do the same thing. Anytime anyone was sick he was sitting at the end of their bed until they were better.

My cats do that too. My female cat will usually stay with me when I am ill. She loves it when I run a fever because I keep her nice and toasty. My male cat is good at trying to comfort me when I am crying or when I get an injury. I got cut on a pie server the other night and while my husband rushed to get a band aid and my male cat came over to make sure I was okay.

Oh yes, she certainly can. In fact, a lot of critters will become more attentive when their people are ill. My parents have a beagle who can tell when my mother is about to get a migraine, and when my father should be laying down.

Try to rest yourself, Sweetheart. And feel better.

Definitely. Watch how sweet she is when you're sick. She just wants to play, because she thinks it will make you feel better.
