God doesn't work that way, or perhaps a better way to put it is that God doesn't have to work that way. Our planet works that way.
If you consider the events that typically follow a catastrophic volcanic eruption, all the plagues can be explained.
A big enough eruption can cause a global climate drop for several years. This could be accompanied by earthquakes and tsunamis. This in turn leads to drought, famine, pestilence, plague, as humans and rodents compete for food. War and rumors of war, again a fight for resources. Red sun and the appearance of no moon and stars as ash cloaks the atmosphere.
I think it is memories of volcanic eruptions that lead to apocalyptic predictions. and in that sense they are right because it is only a matter of time before another catastrophic eruption.

King's bypass station looks in the Harry Potter books. King's bypass station is a real place. hence, each and every little thing in the Harry Potter books is rather real, and you're a potterless heretic to mock them as fiction.

Plagues? How about three or four mutually exclusive warrior religions? That ought to punish us pretty well.

I think he might make all of the money in the world just combust and start burning. Even coins. He would obliterate all of these. Hey, it might stop us from worshipping money.
