Ok my bf got this shirt from his "lady friend" at work (only knew her for like a month) she says its like a Christmas gift. I asked him how his day was and he never told me about the shirt. I had to find out from myspace the next day. I don't care if she gave him a gift ...but why didn't he tell me? It 's just weird

It either meant nothing, and he simply forgot - or it really meant something to him, and he didn't want to reveal that to you. You can't know anything about it until you discuss it with him. Many mistakes are made in judgement when one assumes too much.

Maybe he was uncomfortable about the situation. Why is this lady giving him gifts is what I would want to know. Maybe she does this for everyone she works with, and then you have no worries and can be happy she's a generous person to all, but if she's singlying your bf out for this special attention, I would say that's a problem.

Its just a shirt! Maybe he didnt tell you cause he knew how u would react. Its just a shirt, dont jump into conclusions if he is showing no sign of being unfaithful cause a gift is not a sure enough sign!

It sounds like he is entertaining the idea of him in her. Why is this girl buying him Christmas gifts. I've always been a selfish bastard, but I can't imagine anyone buying a gift for a coworker of the opposite sex, who you've known for one month. I did that once and had sex with her on my desk after hours.

trust your gut. more often than not it is telling you what you already know. why did you find out on myspace? if he cant be honest with you about a coworker, then what else is he not being honest with you about? try to give him the benefit of the doubt but if she gives him something else, you will need to talk to him and see whats going on. who the hell gives christmas gifts on october? he probably didnt want you to freak out. he really could just be friends, but be careful. guys show you who they are in their actions as well as their words.

Perhaps he thought so little of the gift (in terms of significance) that he didn't think it was worth mentioning. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and assume it was an out of sight out of mind type of thing.

I don't think you are over reacting. If he needs new shirts either you should be buying them for him or he should get them for himself. I mean how would he feel if someone you work with went out and bought you some lingerie? I would confront him about it.

Maybe if didn't mean anything to him and that's why he didn't think to tell you. You have to trust him until there is more than just a shirt involved.

toughie

i would probably keep something like this from my girlfriend because i know it might hurt her feelings or make her a little paranoid....in the end though i guess this just makes things worse because it seems like they are hiding something from you

just tell him you want everything to be open & honest in your relationship and try not to worry about it too much :)

EDIT-

see the answer abov me is just complete ignorance, some people here are idiots

You are not over reacting. There are some issues with your relationship that might need to be address. Areas like honesty and trust needs to reevaluated.
