No I'm not thankful.

Thankful for what? To who?

I don't understand the question.

I am thankful, and somewhat surprised, to have made it this far. I am thankful that I am now financially comfortable and that I no longer have to worry about paying the bills. I am thankful that I did it all myself and have benefitted from the - sometimes very hard - lessons I have learned along the way. But most of all I am thankful to my parents, whose moral compass helped me when things were at their worst and the religion I had grown up with turned out to be false

Thankful isn't the right word. The good things in my life have come about either as a result of my hard work or by virtue of random chance. I am appreciative of those things. But I don't thank imaginary sprits for the good things and I don't blame imaginary spirits for the bad things. I take personal responsibility for the good and the bad in my life.

Thankful that I am an atheist? Nah, I am who I am. It is just a title that means little to me. I don't see it as a badge of honor, or an indication that I am a better person because of it. It is just simply the lack of evidence for gods and as a result my lack of belief.

Yes.

I am thankful for my family and friends, and the people who love and care about me.

For the thinks that people generally thank their deity for - health, security, etc. - that is due to the efforts of the people above, due to my own efforts and a lot of it is down to luck.

I'm thankful to the foresight of America's founding fathers, not saying they did a perfect job but they did do a good job.

I'm thankful for many of the values that my parents instilled in me.

Fvck no.

Life is as life is.
To be thankful implies opinion, which implies bias, which implies a scewed view of existence.

I expend most of my opinions on impartiality... ironically.
