If you don't have a coffee maker, get a #4 cone filter from wally-world or your favorite real store. These can be used with or without paper filters. the paper will remove the small 'fines' from the coffee but it also absorbs some of the oils from the coffee grounds. (Also called flavors). Place a 7gram scoop (about a tablespoon full) of coffee, for each 6 ounces of water used, in the filter. (examp. 4 cups = 24 ounces of water, add 28 grams or 4 scoops of coffee grounds.) [by the way, cups of coffee are measured as 6 ounces, not 8 as in a measuring cup, or 5 ounces as in *$'s] Place the filter over a pot or jar or whatever you intend to catch the coffee in. bring your water to the boil. when it has reached the boiling point allow it to set off heat for 15 to 20 seconds then pour over the coffee grounds in the #4 cone filter. it should take about 3 to 4 minutes for all the water to drain through the coffee grounds. Too fast and it is weak, too slow and it will tend to over extract and can be bitter. Pour the finished coffee into your cup and enjoy.

Make egg coffee. It requires no coffee maker, no coffee press, no special tools.

1. Start a pot or saucepan of water to boil.
2. While the water is heating up pour an appropriate amount of coffee grounds into a bowl.
(Most times I have seen the suggestion of using a teaspoon of grounds per cup of coffee, but with egg coffee you might find that to be a bit strong.)
3. Add a raw egg to the coffee grounds.
Use either a spoon or fork to mix into a sticky, shiny lump that clings together with no loose or dry grounds in the bowl. (If you are making a lot of coffee, and have used a lot of grounds, then you may need to use additional eggs.
4. When the water is boiling spoon the egg coffee mixture into the hot water. Add the egg coffee mixture to the boiling water one little bit at a time.
If you pour the mixture into the water two bad things will happen. First the pot/pan will boil over. (Take my word for it, this can be quite an impressive and messy erruption.)
Second you will have a huge lump that will not cook properly. Lots of grounds will be trapped in the middle of the large lump, and they won't have helped to make coffee at all.

The egg instantly binds the coffee grounds together while still letting the hot water cook the coffee. The egg mixture will float, which prevents the grounds from betting burned and scorched on the bottom of the pan.

5. When the coffee is strong enough for your taste scoop out the lumps of egg/coffee mixture and dispose of them.

You will probably find some loose grounds at the bottom of the pan, but I find some in my coffee pot anyway.

I make my coffee usually when I don't feel like using my coffeemaker by heating a cup of water in the microwave, adding a teaspoon of coffee and a teaspoon of sugar ( depending on a person's bitterness and sweetness preference).

First, consider that coffee cup measures about 4-5 ounces. For a "full pot" of coffee 10-12 cups (48-60 ounces) boil that much water. Place 2 tablespoons of coffee in a filter or paper towel into a basket or funnel. CAREFULLY pour the boiling water through the grounds. Tada! Coffee. For one cup, use about a teaspoon of grounds to 8 ounces of boiling water. If it seems weak, pour the water back through the same grounds one more time.

They make a manual drip coffee maker, sold in the coffee isle at the grocery store...I love it. You just put in to top of your coffee mug, use a coffee filter and add hot water. It is so fresh and hot, it is my favorite way of making coffee.

I found a pic. of it, since it is hard to explain. The link is below.

You can get instant coffee or coffee in tea bags. If you get the tea bag ones, put the bag right in the microwave when you warm up the water.
