If man puts forth a statement that does not contradict the Word of God, I will give it ample consideration to determine for myself whether there is truth in it. If it does contradict God's Word, then I reject it outright. I do not believe that God's Word is the only source of truth out there, nor to I believe that I alone will ever know all of the truth that it does, in fact, contain. I therefore MUST consider what someone else says may be true, as long as what they say is not already contradicted by The Word. God's Word is the measure by which I may judge whether something is true or not, and everything must be tested against it.

Man wrote the "word of God" and You and other followers are saying it's "official". First you have to put faith in the writers of the Bible, as well as ALL of those people who copied it so you could read it and what they wrote, before you place your faith in whom the writing is about.

If something is true, it should tell the truth about events that occurred. If physical events occurred in this world they should have left evidence. There is no evidence that any of the miraculous events of the bible occurred, hence it is false.

The Bible is the Word of God and is the FINAL AUTHORITY. Nobody that contradicts is, speaks for God on that particular matter in which they contradict it.
