you sing a couple songs, you hear the word of God, the Pastor talks to you a bit, you say some prayers, and most importantly (assuming you are Catholic) you receive Holy Communion.

You know I ended up in Mass one Easter Sunday as a favor to a older friend, I was a virgin to the Catholic faith. I sat in awe on how Pagan it was, with the chanting, incense and the holy water. I thought OMG, these people are so Pagan and don't even know it. I have never been back.

The people get together, apologize to God for their sins, they give God thanks and praise, they read the scriptures, they offer gifts to God, God makes the body and blood of his son Jesus present on the altar for us, we offer that perfect and eternal sacrifice to God, God accepts, and all graces abundantly flow.
