Because my "religion" is non-existant.... and all religions are wrong.
Only by its absence of substance or essence does mine have value.

You have to see how the religious practitioners behave. Do they advocate unethical things like killing people? Don't join them. Do they just ask you to believe what they say without any reason or discussion? Do they rely on the fact their religion has been around for thousands of years and their supporters are rich? Do they rely on bogus authority? Don't join them.

What makes sense to you, what strikes a chord in your heart and why? Intuitively what feels right? What accords with your experience? Look into that.

Objectively I can't. Religions are, inherently, what Ludwig Wittgenstein called "language games." That is, languages structure the thought patterns of the brain so as to constrain experiences into what is possible according to the language and therefore confirms that language as true for the practitioner. But it is known that language also excludes experiences from possibility and so it is impossible to judge one language game from within another - therefore religions that are not demonstrably false on universal grounds cannot be proven false by reference to one's own religion.

Because I didn't look for God, but he called me one day, opened my eyes. It's a long story, but I met with him through the holy spirit when I responded to the name of Jesus, and I have studied my beliefs intelligently and openly since that day in 2002, and God has always guided me, and I have found the Bible to be truth. It's rather an exclusive claim that Jesus makes, to be the only way to God, but that doesn't make it false.. Sometimes the truth is just the truth.

In the matters of religion, I know deep within my heart my faith is correct, as it accepts other faiths as they are, but states it clearly that our faith is the most beloved to the Almighty because of its pristine purity in the pursuit of monotheism, which alone can be the foundation of peace.

I believe as a Muslim who follows the Prophet of Islam, that Allah has allowed many religions to exist for a time, when there was a need for that faith. Then when its utility is reduced, it slowly subsides or vanishes, but leaves some traces of its existence. Religions are necessary for spiritual growth and to inculcate tolerance among people. Religions that are superstitious are needed by the illliterate and the ignorant. Religions that are logical fulfill the needs of the educated who find their lives hollow without faith.

In the scheme of things I love Islam as the most tolerant faith that has ruled vast regions of the World and many faiths have survived under its flag for centuries over several continents.

Do not judge Islam by the statements of the extremists and the intolerant, who can not estabish their brand of Islam even in their own country or region after trying for many decades, when our Prophet established Islam single handed in his own land in less than ten years.

I hope this makes sense to you.

1. My religion is the right one for me; it might not be the right one for you. I am certain it is the right one for me because it feels right to me to practice as I do.

2. There is no 'one true way.' We are all individuals with individual perceptions of God. Thus, we cannot say that any religion is 'wrong.'

However, we should also remember that religions are institutions created by people, and any social group or institution managed by people is susceptible to all of the faults that humans are susceptible to. Thus, we have religion-inspired evils like the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the burning of 'witches' in Salem, Massachusetts, and extremists of any religion.

The ways are not wrong, but people's uses of the ways can be.

Just ask yourself this. Are you exactly like anyone else? Or, are you an original being? Does it makes sense that you and others may perceive differently?

Wars and inhumane cruelty result from lack of respect for the right of others to believe as they choose.

Don't try to force me to see it your way and I won't pay any attention to you.

I love your right to choose, it makes life more interesting. Respect mine and we'll learn something from one another.

If it works don't knock it.

How do i know? Jesus is real and alive. I know His help in my life. When i asked Jesus to be my Saviour at 14, He totally changed my life.

Do you have that experience? Or Are you just knocking my faith because you have none of your own? If you do believe in something, tell the rest of us about it. What religion, and what it means to you in your daily life?

I say all religions lead to the same place...they all hold truth. Many paths up the very same mountain...but there is but one peak they all reach.

My religion is Apostolic Pentecostalism. Before you roll your eyes, I follow it because it is closest to the Bible. Other religions however aren't wrong if they follow God with their whole heart.
