i've got a friend who lives down there and they told me they weren't allowed to do pyhsical activites yesterday cuz of the smoke in the area. that means that if the fires continue they'll have to evacuate huh? :(

yea i've been reading all these reports to see which places are newset to the danger and thanks for adding them to your prayers!
they are kinda near Anaheim if that helps any...

Not necessarily. It means their air quality will harm their lungs -- the smoke. Some areas have been able to stay home. Depends on their area.

The smoke is over a widespread area so that's not an indicator of the need to evacuate. We have some smoke here today in Santa Barbara and we are far from any active fires. Anaheim is not one of the areas at risk.

Also, Californians never call it "Cali"

The smoke/ash is horrendous here in Orange Co. I'm trying my best to just go to work and go home - nothing in between. Even for the few seconds when I open my car door, ashes fly in and I can see them sitting on my black leather car seats :-o

Yuck!

But, I have to put things in perspective - at least I'm not living in one of the areas that is burning down at this very moment. Its such a sad thing to see :-(

No. it doesn't mean that because I live down here too and we didn't have to evacuate alot of others did,but I didn't. Most people just got off of school because off the terrible smoke seriously my pool is black with ash.well not totally black. [=

There is smoke everywhere. It is best not to breathe it. I do not know where they live so I culd not evn guess if they will be evacuated.

a few of my neices, nephews and neighborhood kids are having the day off. hah imagine that: yall have snow days, we have fire days.

Just so you know for the person who said we don't call it Cali needs to get over it!!!! I was born , raised & lived in CALI for 30yrs. & I call it CALI !!!!!!!!!
