I mean just look at the earth its perfectly distanced from the sun so we dont burn to death or freeze, an oxygen for that matter just the right amount of H2O to breath just the human body itself is a wonder i dont see how people can limit themselves by saying there here by chance when we're truely blessed an you should thank God everyday for waking you up even though you deny him that itself is a miracle

I open my mouth and the words come out. It's really quite easy.

Its not hard to say there is no God when there is no evidence and the only reason people seem to hold the idea is cultural indoctrination, fear of death, or arguments from the incredulousness of the universe. I usually require evidence before I hold a belief. Would it sound unreasonable to say that I don't believe in poltergeist, faeries, unicorns because there is no proof? Same for me with God. Human body could have been designed far better so that people didn't get things like cataracts, cancer, or epilepsy. Your argument is also known as the fining tuning argument. It is essentially a God in the gaps argument, since we don't understand how things came to be it must be God. That is not an evidential argument. There are many possiblities and there are many things that suggest life could have an even better situation to arise had the universe or earth been designed in a more stable way. As conditions change massive extinctions and surival pressure is brought to bear which doesn't suggest a benevolent creator. Then again I know religious people will say these events are part of Gods plan which is just a made up excuse since no one really knows if there is a God and what their plan might be if they had one.

I can say there is no God when the referent for the term "God" is an anthropomorphic projection because every indication available to sensory observation and logical construction disputes the notion.

If the term "God" is used referring to one's highest ideals, or if one uses the term in referring to the sum total of the universe and the Force which drives it, I accept it as a valid referent. If the term is used as the self-evident marvel and mystery of the CONSTANT BECOMING of Being and Consciousness, I accept it as a valid referent, and think of the user in very positive terms.

There is much to learn, much wisdom, in the ancient scriptures. There is also the opportunity to indulge in the most profound of vanities through willful ignorance.

Will=Door

P.S.: The fact that you refer to breathing H2O is an indication that you may not be thinking clearly.

Id say people can say there is no god for two main reasons

1, There is no evidence. Where are modern day saints/ miracles/ etc. People need more than just blind faith to believe.

2, Would a loving god truly allow such suffering in the world? Giving people a choice is not good enough an answer and blaming satan is just crap.

We ARE blessed, by nature and that is what I worship, Wicca.

Maybe there is one maybe there isn't. I have the same feelings as you. I can't believe how anyone can be absolutely sure there is no God. However, I can't understand how anyone can be absolutely sure there is a god or gods.

Maybe we evolved to fit the environment of earth rather than the earth being made to fit us. Just a thought. The universe is pretty big, there may be an infinite number of combinations of planetary environments. Maybe a few of these are able to sustain some form of life.

Who knows?

Easy. There is no God. There.

Let's answer some of your details though. The earth is not perfectly distanced for our sakes; we evolved to fit the distance our planet is from the sun. We do not breath H(2)O, we drink it: that's water. But the right amount of oxygen is the same answer as above: we evolved because we survived better in this environment than earlier creatures did. So we are adapted to our environment, not the other way around.

I don't know how people say that there is no God. Even though you can't see him doesn't mean He doesn't exist. Think about it this way. you know that there is a wind but you can't see it. All you see is the affects of the wind. Like the trees blowing. Why believe in things that aren't real and you can't see like santa or the tooth fairy. These things aren't real but so many people pretend that they are. God is real but not enough people believe He does. Instead they create fake gods that they worship. We all need to worship the one true living God who created us. God longs for us to have a relationship with Him. He is alive and Living

I believe in Mother Nature, which is God I suppose. I don't believe in a big man in the sky.

I don't thank God for waking me up every day, because some days I wish I didn't wake up, I would thank him if my little girl woke up every day, but she was killed and will never wake up no matter how hard I try to believe in God.

Well when Jesus was here and performing miracles right in their faces, many did not believe. It is not just now that they don't believe. Also Jesus said he did not come to save the righteous but the sinners. That would include the people who don't believe of course. Pray your rosary for these lost people, I sincerely believe that through the grace of God many of these people will repent and be saved. Eventually. Our prayers and love for God can beat Satan any day. God is still performing miracles.

If earth was the only planet in the universe, your argument would hold. Since there is probably billions of planets, that's billions of trials. It's reasonable that a few of them would be right for life.

If there is no God, what caused the universe to come into existence? What sent the Big Bang in to motion? Who designed DNA?
