We're spending 2 wks in Canada next June. What weather can we expect, please?

flying in to Edmonton, Alberta, hiring a car visiting Jasper, Banff, Lake Louise, Calgary area. Any advice /tips about weather to expect general info about the area most welcome.Places to see, places to avoid, whatever. Thx in advance.

In June your evenings will still be cool since we are close to/in mountains. The days can range from very hot (30C) to cool (15C) depending on the year.

There is a TON to see. I'm glad you've decided to do it for 2 weeks. Even there is a is a lot you won't see i'm sure.

Since you are doing the Edmonton/Jasper/Lake Louise trip you will see the most important parts (not Edmonton) but the Jasper - Lake Louise Icefield Parkway. It is by far one of the most beautiful trips in the world.

You will, I'm sure stop at the Icefields. Whether or not you go up onto them is a decision you'll have to make. It is a little pricey but fun.

There are numerous stops to make as you drive along - many lakes, etc. Most are worth stopping at. I highly recommend you get up early that day and make your trip worthwhile.

I live near Calgary and love it here. I still haven't done all there is to do here and I grew up here and I've done a lot with my kids. :)

Knowing Alberta, you can expect all four season in one day (they do say wait five minutes and the weather will change).
But seriously the weather in June/July is normally hot (I say normally, because about two three years ago it rained for about 10 days).
As mentioned visit Drumheller, also try Calgary.
There is also a route called the Jasper Loop. Which is well worth a drive.
If you get the chance, you should try to get too, Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump, Cardston and Waterton Park. But these are all in SW Alberta, which would be quite along drive, if you play golf bring your clubs as well!!!!!!
