Once you reach adult sized bikes, size is determined by the frame size, not the wheel size. 26" is the wheel size. Within that size there are a number of frame sizes. I'd suspect you would be somewhere around a 15" frame. But don't take my word for it. Go to a bike shop and get measured. Be sure to buy a bike that fits right and is safe to ride. Don't get one too big thinking you will grow into it. Some room for growth is fine, but remember you have to ride it now.

Go to a local bike shop and have them fit you to a bike for the kind of riding that you want to do. There is more to fitting a bike than selecting the correct stand-over height. Given a correct size, you can go to other bike shops and do some apples-to-apples comparisons.

The bicycle market is highly competitive. Different brands in the same price range are usually quite comparable in value. Ignore all the brand names, marketing hype, and fancy brochures. Test ride lots of bikes. One will feel like it fits you better than the others. Buy that one.
