Not all of them, I'm pretty sure.

I think we won't know what started them for a while, but a few fires (big ones) here in recent years were attributed to, for example, illegal immigrant enclave campfires near San Diego, and since the biggest one causing over a quarter million people to evacuate down there started in the hills near the Mexican border, I wouldn't be surprised to learn this is something like that.

Arson is also being blamed for some, and if you live here and watch them pop up in a line along the coast line, it does seem strange. At risk of sounding paranoid, I think SOMEONE is setting at least some. In the case of Irvine, the fire department thinks so too. They are too busy to be checking it out, right now.

I don't know if it is illegal immigrants (terrorist groups have been looking for an avenue here, as well), but excess population has absolutely impacted our drought and water supplies.

I agree with DAR. The fire from over a week ago on the 5 freeway was thought to be caused by overcrowded freeways. I also suspect arson play a role on some of the fires. The weather was not that hot here. SOme have been thought to be caused by down poerlines though.

California is well know for Fires, mud slides and storms. What started this fire is going to be just as difficult to find out as it was for all the other ones they have had.

At this time I think the main focus now relative to the fire is not on determining if Immigrations had anything to do with it at all.

LOL! Where in the world did you get the idea that illegal aliens have anything to do with the fires? That is, unless it was an illegal alien that set it.
