Lots of friends and no money. Money won't remember you when you have gone and won't pass on any of your good advice, but friends will always carry you in their heart.
High pay may sound nice but without friends to share it with and time to enjoy it, what does it matter?
I have seen many people state work now play later....well what if you die while you are working all that time? Life would be wasted. Some workaholics don't make it to retirement, so what then? Lots of money that you can pass on to someone you barely know because you were too busy working to earn it all for THEM.

All depends on the lifestyle you want and your long term goals. No job is really ever crap, as it is the people you work with (& for) that make a workplace what it is. At 21, it is suggested that you should start planning for your future, but as long as you can earn a living there is nothing wrong with trying out a few different jobs to see what suits. At 25, our life priorities change and that is really the best time to consider a long term career. So with that in mind earn a bit and live a lot and gather as much experience as you can.

You should do what is best for you, and not to mention a high paying job would be good for the family especially nowadays. Get the experience in this job and find another one later down the road. I think that people should go for the gold...work hard now..play later.

It depends on your financial situstion and need. If your not in a great need for money than get the low pay job with your friends and if you need money than get the high paying job and also keep your priorities straight whats more inportant to you.

That's a no-brainer for me. The only things that would make me chose the high pay would be 1) it is a very short term employment, or 2) I really really love what I would be doing, in which case the money would be irrelevant.

i would rather have a high paying job, as in the long run i could build myslef a future for my wife and kids...additionally, i could retire early (if i lived that long enough, with the long hours of the high paying job) and enjoy with my family....besides even in high paying jobs i could find some time for vacation to spend with my family...

"a job that you have no time for anyone but high pay" You can make friends later keep the money rollin in :O) but Money Magazine did a survey "How boomers really feel"
nearly 3,000 boomers found that they are reinventing the American dream, emphasizing friends and family over making money, having fun over working hard, and making a difference in the community and the world.
I'm still for the money LoL
