Yeah that's a great way to show your son how to take responsibility for his actions. He was late, no one DID anything to him. Your fine was the consequences of HIS actions, why aren't you mad at him for being so irresponsible? You think you are equipped to teach him at home? Sounds like you haven't taught him anything so far, what makes you think you can now? Sure he wants to be taught at home, he knows you won't/can't and he gets a free ride. Nice job, mom.

If you really cared about your son and his education, you would march him back to school, and make him work his lazy behind off to pay you back. He would also be grounded until he understood who is boss and that he's going to school as long as you are required to send him, and when that's over, he can quit and get out.

The person you should be angry with is yourself for doing such a lousy job as a parent.

You have to see why he was late all the time , if your late for work allot you'll get fired wont you. A little lecture towards your son won't be a bad thing for he needs to be a little more responsible so this won't jeopardize his career in the future.I'm not saying to beat him but talk to him about life after-all hes only 15 and doesn't know much about life and the steps hes going to have to take as an adult.
As for home schooling i think its a good thing i know kids that do as well as in school at home for the fact that they get all the attention so home schooling is good , and if he wants to be home schooled its better you teach him at home that way he doesn't cut school because he doesn't want to be there trust , me i know........Good luck and don't be angry it will only cause you not to think right...........
