If your dog is not two years old and has had OFA clearance for hips and elbows, NO ONE should be breeding to him!!!!
This is clearly a BYB that wants to use your dog.

often, the owner of the stud gets stud value. in case you like a puppy lower back, you would be able to desire to artwork in an contract with the female proprietor approximately this by way of fact stud value and %. of the clutter seems plenty. Do you have your male examined for any breed specific ailment? Your canine is registered would not advise that he could be a breeding inventory. while you're severe approximately this, you would be able to evaluate showing him to become champion. via the way, what breed is your male?

First thing and very important, make sure that the person gets a brucellosis test done on her ***** and make sure that you see the negative results! Do not let her con you into taking the dog off your property to the *****. The ***** comes to the dog. If you have not done any OFA's and cerf's, then you should not be thinking about using your boy as a stud. Tell her that she would need to wait until after you get this done. Is your dog a champion? Have you compaired the pedigrees of the pair to see what you are breeding? Have you examined all of the faults that both have and thought about the combination and what might result in the breeding? You need to ask yourself some questions about this first.

Generally speaking, the owner of the male either gets a stud fee, or pick of the litter. The stud fee depends on the breeding, breed or the sale price of one of the puppies

you usually only get one or the other, depending on the breed of dog and the b*tches owners. Who goes where is up to the b*tches owner as well but most ask the stud to come to them. Females are pregnant 63 days

Stay away from this backyard breeder who is breeding her dog as a cash crop. The only reason to breed is for the betterment of the breed and that is not what you two are doing.
There are to many dog and not enough homes. They are being euthanized everyday in shelters and backyard breeders are the main reason.
Do your dog a favor, let him be a pet and get him neutered for crying out loud.
The biggest cause of deaths in healthy dogs is euthanasia.

What breed is the female? You should request for any test results (genetic (like VWD) and physical (like hip and elbow certified). If the breeder says she does't need any tests, then she must be a byb. You don't want your male to help these byb. If you want to do the right thing, you should have your male tested too. Is your male AKC registered? If not, I think you should neuter him.

If you don't know how long a female dog is pregnant for then you shouldn't be breeding. You sound clueless about everything. Female dogs are pregnant for 2 months. Good Luck!

my view on it would be, if you are the stud owner, you can ask for and work to get whatever you want. If you want a fee and a pup, ask for it and get it in writing.
