Nah, it's a place you've really got to go with friends or family to really enjoy yourself and have a great day out. I first went when I was little with my family and I really enjoyed myself. I've since been again with friends and it was even more fun, partly because I was older and could appreciate more of it and secondly because I was with my friends and you always have fun when you're with your mates.
So yeah, take friends, family, boyfriend...whatever - but you'll definitely have more fun if you're not by yourself!

While I haven't been to Universal for a few years and I went with family, I have been to Disneyland many times alone and WDW alone. Yes, you will enjoy yourself, especially if your the type of person that likes some time to themselves. Going with friends and family is great but you have to deal with other people and making sure everyone is satisfied. When you go to a theme park alone you only have yourself to satisfy, no one else, you can do what you want when you want and no ones complaining. Also, some parks have single rider lines (I dont know about Universal) this means you get in a much shorter line and they stick you in the first empty seat when there is an odd number of riders. This can cut wait times way down. Go and give it a try, chat with people while you wait in line, if your sitting, eating at a table and its crowded and you have room and see people looking for a place to eat invite them to join you.
Never let others stop you from enjoying life. If no ones available to go or no one wants to go and it sounds fun to you, go and have fun.

I Recently traveled to Universal Studios alone and I had a great time.
Make sure to see the studio tour and get back there as fast as you can because when the cars come to pick you up you have to get in where you fit in.

Not really. You would want to share the experience with somebody. It's a movie studio. Take pictures, participate in one of the shows.

Of course, its always better with a friend. I just went last week and took my daughter. Just the two of us. But one person could still have fun. Give it a try.
