Not live as in stick around on them to breed no. But they do hop on to bite, our blood is fine for them. It's cats and dogs they tend to lay eggs on.
BUT there is a species of human fleas that lives on us! They're rare though, if you've got pets it's cat or dog fleas you're seeing.

They can... inasmuch as they bite you for food, and live in your rug and furniture while waiting for you to come by for their next meal...
when my dog ran away years ago cause my ex threw things at him in anger, I had fleas jump on me when I went to the dog run where the dog had been.
The fleas came into the house on me and ate only on me.
They jumped off me to the rug to wait for next time they were hungry.
I had to bug bomb my home every 4 days 6 times to get rid of all the fleas that hatched.

not for long. They may jump on you, stay on for about 5 min, and bite you and leave.. but no.. they don't "live on" people the same way they live on cats and dogs.

No - but they will bite. They live in the furniture, carpets etc. and bite whomever they need for nourishment.
