I dont think you can get rid of them. Those "balls" are formed when the 1st hole scared. Dont mean to upset you, but they will be there for ever. My mate had his ear pierced and then thoses lumps appeared. It looks like a bead on her ear now, with an earring sticking out.

They are indeed little knots of scar tissue from your previous piercing. If they tried to punch through these with a gun, there is a big chance of only getting half way through your ear, getting tangled in the scar, and making a big painful mess. The lady at Claire's who warned you was doing the right thing.

You can either get them pierced in a slightly different spot or you can go to a professional body piercer.

A piercer will be able to pierce your ears with a hollow needle which should allow them to go through the old scar. It might pinch a little to go through the scar tissue, but it shouldnt be a problem. Your piercer will also give you aftercare instructions so your ears will heal up beautifully.

You can't get rid of them - maybe by plastic surgery but no other way. They are the scars left by the previous ear-piercing. You'll just have to get pierced in a different part of your ear and this time, keep the sleepers moving and oiled up so that the holes don't close up again or you'll find yourself with more little lumps.

CLAIRE'S?! HAVE YOU GONE MAD?!?!!!

GO TO A REAL PIERCER!!! Piercing guns are probably what CAUSED that scarring in the first place! I have 15 piercings and I learned from experience that piercing guns are painful as hell compared to needles, and the healing is a b****. Research why piercing guns are bad. Then, go to a real piercer. You won't regret it. If you live in the NY area, I can recommend a few good people. Good luck, and please don't use a piercing gun. They spread disease and infection, first of all. Seriously consider researching this before you make a decision.

well, the little 'balls' u can feel in your earlobes is the scar tissue left behind from having your ears pierced.

as for not being able to get them pierced in the same place, that is total nonsense. u need to find someone who knows what they are talking about. i did exactly the same thing as u - let my original piercings heal over... about 2 years after that happened, i got them re-pierced, and the woman who did them used the old scars as guiding marks for the new holes.

The little balls are internal scars, don't worry try pushing the ear ring through them.

For the most part those will be a part of your ear. However, skin and other particulars can get stuck in the small opening. You could squeeze them like you would a pimple and I bet a small amount of "stuff" will come out. This might make them appear smaller. Try it..you'll see what I mean.

its scar tissue I bet, not a problem really, most piercers will repierce just slight above or below the previous hole and then you wont be able to see the little lumps.
