Im exactly the same. I only have college 3 times a week, so rest of the time i go to bed 4am and wake up at 3pm. And just cant wake up earlier.and then when i do have college im so tired.

The best thing to do would to go to sleep NOW and wake up at ten force yourself to stay awake all day and not nap AT ALL and then when night comes ull feel tired and relax hav a bath etc and u shud b able to fall asleep early. Then you will be in that normal sleeping cycle.

Good luck!

I can relate. I'm ready to go back to sleep now (I hope). Maybe your Dr can prescribe a sleeping pill for you, but be careful not to become dependant on them. I have some, but I only take them if I haven't had much sleep for a few days. People who don't suffer from sleep deprivation don't realize how serious it is. You can't concentrate. You shouldn't drive. You have no ambition, and thinking about all the things you're not getting done makes it worse. Hope this helped. I'm with you!

Yes go to sleep for a few hours and then make sure you get yourself up at a normal hour (i.e. 8.30). You will then have to try and get through the day until a later time (i.e. 10.30pm) and then go to bed. How have you managed to get yourself into this situation, don't you have school or a job? Sort out your sleeping pattern asap, where you are in work or not remember life is for living, not spending it asleep wasting it.

i would probably say have a nap, you need sleep to be fully functioning.

to change the sleeping patterns choose a time that you feel as a reasonable time to sleep like 9pm.
even if you arent sleepy, go to bed every day at 9pm, it might take a bit, maybe a week or two, but just keep going to bed at the same time everynight, and eventually you will get used to that time and you will set your body clock to be tired at 9pm and wake you at around 6ish maybe.

Definitely set up a more restful sleep schedule. I can't tell you when to go to sleep (no later than 11:50 for me) but I can tell you some things that help me go to sleep

-Read a peaceful or funny book
-Use a light-scented body spray, like vanilla
-Put a satin eye cover over you eyes
-Ask your doctor for a short-term, NON-NARCOTIC (addictive) sleep aid.
-Keep your room cool but not cold

hm i think you should sleep untill your feeling unsleepy, then go to bed even when your not even tired at a normal time like around like 10 or 11 then wake up at a time like set an alarm then keep doing that routine untill you wake up and sleep around there every day.

You need to start trying to get to sleep earlier. It's just a change in your routine. Simple answer, huh? Do you have a night job or just unemployed?
