Not direct. One way is:
- NJT from Newark to New York Penn Station
- Subway or taxi to Grand Central Station
- MetroNorth to Milford

It would be cheaper and much easier to rent a car and drive yourself.

amtrak and then that goes to New haven is that near your desination
