I don't think any accident or foul fate is God's will, unless God is a quark. The jury is still out regarding quantum weirdness, the underpinning of the fabric of the cosmos. If these things were really God's will, I say we should show some sack and ask Him is that all You got? Bring it on. Somebody asked recently, when God flooded the world, did he feel a disturbance in the Force like Obi Wan Kenobe did when Alderaan went kablooey?

You're blaming God?
Evil my dear has it's well established home here on Earth.
If an 8 year old boy is thrown out of a 10 story window and dies. That is God's will . If another 8 year old boy is thrown out of a 10 story building and lives, the fall was a true accident
I believe if God wants you, there is nothing you can do to change that. You will go to him even if you are lying in bed, with body guards, your Momma, a Doctor, a Surgeon,
a witch, a wall built around you. Whatever. Get the picture!

Sometimes things just happen. There is not always some great mysterious reason for everything. Just like Hurricane Katrina a church here had a sign out front saying God destroyed New Orleans because of sin, but the funny thing is many churches were destroyed while bars, and houses of ill repute were left standing.
If it was God's judgment that should tell us something.

Things just happen it is part of life, there is no god or gods will that has caused the fires in California.
If there was a god it brings the following questions.
If god is all-powerful why is he not doing anything about the fires in California? If he can not then he is not all-powerful, if he can but does not want to then he is not a loving god.
And the excuse of free will is just a cop-out by religious people to justify their claim that god does exist.

First of all, my heart aches for all going through this terrible thing. There is word out that this is possibly the work of arson. On the other hand, sometimes on this earth, accidents are just 'accidents.' God is a good God, who does not go around causing people misery. God created the world for us to live in harmony with Him and all nature. Sin of course, blew that, and we then had to care for the earth ourselves. How do you think we're doing?
The good news is that God will if we ask, bring good out of evil. My Mom was killed in a car accident when I was 13 by a driver who was impaired by alcohol and drugs. It was, needless to say, horrific on many levels. As bad as it was, though, there has been much good brought from it. Among many other things, (having forgiven this woman), I am today, good friends with her daughter, and the hardships endured, are now a means whereby I can encourage others. My deceased Mom, a loving Christian, would love that, and I am blessed to know, that someday I will again meet up with her in heaven, and live with her forever.

God put in place a Control Structure. We call it Nature. It has ways of renewing itself, for example fire caused by lightening, or drought and very high temperatures.
If we do not treat Nature right, it bites back. If Society creates sick people/pyromaniacs then its not Gods fault.
I am TRULY sympathetic to the suffering that is happening to the victims, but why bring God into it?

I know insurance companies call these natural disasters "acts of God" but I don't believe that either.
I believe God created everything including science and nature; but I'm not so convinced He personally directs every single thunderstorm.
I also believe that even in the most horrific tragedy you can find God's hand at work - and no matter what happens to us here, nothing compares to the glory which is ours to inherit if we believe in Him.
And if you have truly lost everything, how did your computer survive?!?

There are more bigger number of evacuees in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine, God want to remind you of his Omnipotence and to teach you the love of humanity. Sorry!
God bless our American brothers from this trouble. Trouble for any man is similarly painful as for me. Oh God help them, save them from your anger and bring then under your blessings.
