Hi Abdul. I'm glad you like it here. It's a nice place isn't it. Why are you claiming welfare and the other things? If you are temporarily in need, then that's OK - that's what the system's for. However, I do hope you are trying to get work and put back money into the economy (by way of tax and NI from your wages) so that you can make up for what you are presently taking out. If you aren't and are just sitting on your bum with your hand out and doing nothing, and if everyone else does the same, the welfare state will collapse and we'd all be worse off. Guess who'd get the blame? Sadly it would be you. I'm sure you are lovely and friendly and don't bother anyone, but you'd be seen by all those people who are working and putting money into the welfare system as a total waste of space, a nasty taker not a beautiful giver. You'd be seen as a selfish person and no-one would like you at all. It's called Welfare because it helps people in desperate circumstances. Sadly, too many selfish people jump on the band wagon and just take, take, take. Many are immigrants who see us as stupid for being benevolent - not all, I know - but immigrants are easy to single out because of their accent or skin colour. Unfortunately, the selfish ones spoil it for the majority of good ones who do their best to contribute and assimilate with the population. I really hope you are one of the good ones Abdul.

I have no problem with people who come here for legitimate reasons, but what annoys me is that people from anywhere can come in and get just as you've said free medical care, benefits and a house. It makes me angry that our own people can't get those in the first place yet these people get priority the system is all wrong.
I've worked all my life and my father before me worked all his life, I'm a father to two wonderful children who thankfully have turned out alright, however some people have not been so fortunate and I often listen to them, and the anger they have. When I was younger you could walk out of a job on Friday and start a new one on Monday nowadays you can't even get a job in the first place!!
I could write here forever about what I think about this subject we're a soft touch there's no denying it and the sooner our country wakes up to the truth the better, If I went to Sudan could I expect a free house, free money and free medical care? I think not. Learn to make the best of your situation... in your own country thank you. My wife and I have suffered personally at the hands of illegal immigrants who have broke into our house twice.

1. Britain is already full.
2. The people immigranting to Britain are from the most backward countries on the planet.
3. They abuse the generous welfare services.
4. They breed like rabbits and claim even more welfare.
5. They're a burden on their host society.
6. Most of them are not white and not Christian.
7. They cause more crime than the native British people.

Why are you in the UK? It can't be for asylum since you must have travel through 20 countries to get here. You can't have a work permit as you are on benefits. You must be another of the millions of illegals.
My problem with you is that you claim benefits that you've never contributed for, I don't agree with the government paying any no British national any type of benefits.
You get free housing before British citizens who are in desperate need for housing. My taxes pay for your new furniture and thirty kids. If you're an asylum seeker then you should have to stay in a camp and get meals on stamps there.
In fact you are a leach raping the UK for all you can. It's people like you that need to be deported. If the Sudan is that bad then claim asylum in Egypt.

It's not immigration per se, just the vast number involved. Legal immigrants alone come to thousands a month, let alone the illegal ones.
Also,as you've pointed out, you claim welfare and housing and free medical care...this is all paid for by the British people..no wonder they are peed off with you.
Immigrants who come here to work, pay taxes, fine but the lazy spongers just here for a meal ticket and accommodation should be deported (and definitely not let in, in the first place).
And you wonder why people are antaganistic towards you...what was wrong with France, Germany etc?? You must have passed through those to get here. Is it that they aren't as generous with their people's hard earned cash?

Actually the majority of people aren't against immigration at all in the UK, it boosts the economy and means there is a greater skills base. Everyone in the UK is entitled to free medical care so that's irrelevant. I know that in certain cases, people cannot work until they are granted permission to stay in Britain but some people have a problem about those who have permission to stay but do not work as they are a drain on the economy (not paying taxes, using government benefit funds etc.) however these people feel the same about Brits who don't work so that really isn't an issue to do with immigration. I think the majority of people here are welcome to a reasonable amount of new people coming in to the country and are compassionate towards the situations of refugees. Maybe you live in an area which is predominantly British and could consider moving to a more multicultural area if this is an issue for you but I think your defensiveness will create rather than solve problems. I hope my views have given you some insight on what I consider to be a common-held viewpoint.

Because those of us who were born here, work here, pay taxes and are citizens in our own country are treated like second class citizens next to immigrants and asylum seekers.
I'd love a nice house, but I'll never be able to afford to get on the housing ladder in my own country because I'm on my own and it's too expensive, yet immigrants are put right to the top of the council list and get given them.
I work my **** off, only to have most of my money taken back in taxes, yet a vast number of immigrants get huge ammounts of benefits, more than I earn in a year sometimes. (And I'm a nurse, not exactly a minimum wage nomark job!)
And I've even had to treat immigrants over and above elderly citizens of this country (who were kept waiting) because of their 'needs and rights.'
Bollocks to your needs and rights, we should look after our own first!

Because immigrants get all these free things and the locals have to work hard to make a living.
Of course, not all immigrants do this and there are many immigrants who can't claim benefits in this country. I'm from South Africa and have been here for 6years. I'm married to an Englishman but I can't claim benefits even if I wanted to.
I pay NI and tax just like everyone else but I'm not even entitles to unemployment benefits or disability benefits.
