The sin you are talking about is the orginal sin, for which adam and Eve were punished. There are other sins that you can add to that. Before Christ, there were those against the 1à comandments and infringing the Idetary and Sabbath Laws and things like that.
After Christ it got misleading. He did things that were against some of those Laws and He replied to his accusers that He had every right to do Gods work on the Sabbath. I have no recollection of Him saying that, for example, that the 10 commandments were rescinded.
He brought the Love thy God and neighbour thing and thus a lot of Christans tend to think thats all the are obliged to do. Boy, are they in for a shock when they find that liars are barred from Heaven. It clearly says so in Revelations.

The priestly "protection racket" required the criminalizing of the whole of humanity through the doctrine of Sin. In a world run by clerical gangsters, the writ of Holy Mother Church was enforced by sadism and torture. For more than a thousand years, the henchmen of Christ inflicted a cruel barbarism on every community they encountered. Law was replaced by Divine Right, scientific method criminalized, ancient medical knowledge lost for a millennium. Women, fortunate to be domestic slaves, might find themselves in enforced celibacy, joyless marriage or burnt as a witch. Roasting heretics became popular entertainment and a religious duty.

Behavior itself is not a sin. Behavior that separates us from God's will for us is sin. But Jesus died for all of our sins so that we never have to be separated from God in eternity if we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Behavior isn't sin. It's the result of behavior that isn't in sinc with Who God is that causes sin.

Matthew 15
Defilement Comes from Within
1 Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, 2 “Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.”
3 He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, ‘Honor your father and your mother’;[a] and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’[b] 5 But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God”— 6 then he need not honor his father or mother.’[c] Thus you have made the commandment[d] of God of no effect by your tradition. 7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:
8 ‘ These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
And[e]honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
9 And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”[f]
10 When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand: 11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”

Can a clay pot question its maker? Can a advent question the author.? to question is to doubt, and to doubt is below to have confidence. Humanity does what that's familiar with ultimate, question God and then turn around and blame His perfection. all and sundry can think of of fixing something they desire of their constrained imperfect mortal life.

As there is no such thing as a perfect god that must mean that sin does not exist.

I guess it would be when the behavior is one that widens the gulf, instead of narrowing it.
