Moments ago, a user named Huzaifa A asked this question:

"Hey dear guys as the quran says many peop;e come to Islam from cristiany and some other religons,do you agree/"

"a Cristian monk who came to Islam said that now only I am the best Cristian...........................?????..."

I quickly confronted the asker about his lie regarding the Qur'an talking about Christians and other religions. The asker removed the question within minutes of being caught and confronted.

We both know that the only thing the Qur'an says about people converting to Islam is that they are "forgiven" from paying the jizya ( protection money ).

What would you say to your fellow Muslim, who is using lies about the Qur'an to spread your religion?

Why is it so hard to get a straight answer from Muslims? Don't they see the question? Evasion is a tool for the weak.

2 more answers from Muslims, but they still fall short of actually answering the question.

Ignorant people are ignorant as some of the answerers here are, whatever be their religion. There is no room for lieing in Islam, except for defeating Allah's enemy and your enemy what modern day warfare terms as deception, psychological warfare, propaganda, ruses etc, that too not mentioned in the Quran, but developed over the years and approved by the theologists. To promote the true light of Islam, lieing is not required. It's the truth that shall prevail. In the name of Allah the Benificent the Merciful. "Confound not truth with falsehood, nor knowingly conceal the truth." (Holy Qura. Surah II : Verse 42). In another place in the Holy Quran it's said (words to this effect): I have not created the world for play, then you could see that. I have created the worlds to establish truth against falsehood. You will find falsehood crumbling down before truth.

Conversion is nowhere mentioned in the Holy Quran as such. It is repentance of the disbelievers (and those who wrong themselves) and the vow to be a servant of Him, that Allah would accept and forgive them. About Jewish and Christian scholars (and great people) converting to Islam, examples abound. Hope it helps.

Jizya is finished but Zakat and Ushur has started which is more than that. So if someone do not want to become muslim by heart it is better for him to remain non-muslim to avoid this heavey payment. But now taxes are higher than this 2.5% and 10%. So both cases are okay not need to lie.

Wait, there are "protection money" payments in Islam? Jeez Louise, this religion is more f'ed up than I thought.

"Hey, you know, this is a nice camel you got here... shame if it.. you know... burned down. Not saying it *will* burn down, but... well, hey, things happen. Those who are more generous to the Prophet tend to have camels which don't burn down, I am merely saying."

I guess he was not being liar. I think he could not put his question properly. People come from different cultures and different languages. Every person here is not American with damn good English.

And yes, I did not like his question's format and it made me puzzle too.
