If you use air conditioning, look at the solar exposed sides of your building because UV and solar radiation is causing them to generate extreme heat the building isn't designed for. Air conditioning is a good sale name, it is really refrigeration, ozone depleting, 1000s of watts per hour of wasted electrical generation, massive emissions.

Painting your exterior of your building with low emissivity coatings, UV resistant coatings, cool roofs will eliminate the generated heat, the need for air conditioning, the electrical waste, the emissions and it can be verified.

Functional landscaping, DON"T CUT DOWN TREES for any other reason than public safety because the shade of a tree, vine, etc stops the solar impact on the building and does exactly the same as the UV resistant coatings above if it is done properly.

My background is buildings and environment and it is a contradiction to scrape the ground of everything living so we can put up a big absorbent heat generator called a "healthy home"
