Yes, most breeds get along with each other. But you must train them well. It all depends you and how you train them.

All dogs will get along well if they have been well socialised. There are some differences in dominance between breeds, but not huge differences, definitely not enough to matter. Is your dog aggressive or dominant towards other dogs you meet on the street or come across in parks? How often was he allowed to play with other dogs as a puppy, and how often does he play with them now? This is known as socialisation and if a dog has been sufficiently socialised, he will behave around other dogs.

Good on you for neutering your pet.

I have 2 bostons 6 & 3 the older one trained the younger one, but the older one was well trained by me. Both are males. My friend had a jack when I was a kid and they tend to be nippy and agresive so no matter what breed you pick for him you are going to have to work with your jack otherwise you will have problems with both dogs.
Good Luck

he will get along with any dog if he is taught to behave,, jrts are not dominant as a whole,, you may just have a dominant male... make sure you tell this to any breeder you are interested in and they will make sure you get a more submissive pup...

again,, any breed is fine...

you may want to enroll in a basic 6 week obedience class BEFORE getting your new dog.. this will help you and will help your dog
