Remove the cup holder shifter surround lift straight up remove the trim around the heater controls pull straight back open the top dash compartment pull straight back. Now you will see the six sheet metal screws and weird shapped metal bracket. Remove the screws and radio bracket and radio will pull out Nissan Radio is side mounted some aftermarket radios with special aftermarket Sentra face plates look good installed. So don't just think a universal radio will just fit in and not be loose.

u need to go to a junk yard that will let u get the part from the car or find some one that has a wrecked or trashed sentra and will let u but or have access to the wires. since urs were cut and no longer have the factory plug, u must first get the plug, to get that u need to cut the plug from a donor car as listed above. make sure u cut the wires at least 6 in from the plug as u will need the length to connect the wires to urs. also make sure it is the same plug. i.e. : 6,4,or8 speaker which ever ur car is cause if u get one from a basic stereo and urs is a premium then some of ur speakers wont work. to put the wires together u need to have butt connectors, a crimping tool, which also has wire striping section on them, which u will need, and some electrical tape

i usually use a dash kit's instructions to remove the factory radio for my aftermarket radio. it usually tells you everything, just make sure you got the right year and such. and if your having to remove your center console like i had to, make sure you see where your air vents are locked in, i screwed mine up that way
