So, there's this guy who I'm really close to and I really like him and I'm pretty sure he likes me too. But whenever we're around each other, we're just friendly and don't exactly flirt. When we used to chat online, we used to tease each other a lot and it led to flirting (or somewhat flirting).

Yesterday, I met him on the bus on the way to school and we found out we can meet each other 3x a week to go to school together. Today was one of those days. So I waited for him but he didn't show. Later, he smsed me and asked if I got to school on time and what time my classes start tomorrow. He's never asked questions like that before.

Now, that's what's confusing me. Sure, we care about each other a lot as friends but he suddenly seems a lot more concerned about me. But earlier, it seemed like he was interested but lost interest in me after a while, though we remained friends.

Will he ever ask me out?

Oh and btw, we're both 19.

Mm....another thing I've forgotten to mention. We've known each other for about 6 years now and we're pretty close. And I'm scared to tell him how I feel for fear that he'll freak out or something might go wrong and we'll never again have what we have right now.

And he is NOT gay. I know that for sure.

Oh, and I've given PLENTY of signs that I'm interested in him. His sister's even told him straight out.

Sounds like he is interested. He called you up asking what time your classes start so he can catch the bus with you, probably. You shouldn't wait on him to ask you out, give out some hints, some clues that'll show him your interested.
If he doesn't get the hint don't get frustrated, guys are slow and aren't too keen on taking hints, so you might just have to ask him to go out with you in the end.

If you are not sure about what the "status" is between you and him, you probably need to spend more time talking and hanging out to get a good idea. If you like him and he isn't asking you to hang out or go doing anything, you might need to take the initiative yourself and ask him. Similarly, you can get him more interested in you by acting more interested in him. Ask him what he likes, what he enjoys doing, what kind of girls he is interested in. Chances are good he will return the same questions and find out things about you too.

I've ever experienced that kind of experience too. But what I got from the experience is that I think that boy is too shy to ask me out. There are those kind of boys who feel really say to ask a girl out, like something is blocking his throat although he really want to say it out loud. What I suggest is to push him to talk about that. Help him to say what he really means. But if you think you have waited for too long, leave him and look for other guy. Sometimes that kind of guy is just hopeless.

No he won't. Look when will you girls get it that men make a move and are waiting for a response by the girl but she never gives it as she sits around waiting for the guy to ask something he's already hinted at, just ask him out would you he's already placed the ball in your court
