There are two potential problems thrombosis and increased blood pressure.

Any increase in activity raises blood pressure, the more the exertion the higher the pressure. Obviously higher blood pressure will increase the chances of a blood vessel in the brain bursting.

If the head is kept above the heart then this will lower the amount of blood reaching the brain as well.

If blood flow is restricted in a vein for long enough you risk clotting. A clot can then travel to the brain, heart, lungs etc where it becomes life threatening.

So get the lady to do the work and ask her nicely to keep slim if you are really concerned.

When you get too much fatigued, i guess, so try to minimize doing it. Also if you're too old, and when you have history of heart related ailments. It's just a matter of not pushing yourself too much.
