You need to get a seperate cage for your bunny. She should not be difficult to tame,I once tamed a wild baby bunny and she was the sweetest thing. Anyway, don't listen to those who tell you it is a good idea, because hamsters are very territorial. Furthermore, rabbits need different types of food and if she eats some of the hamster's food she may get sick and vice versa. Also, the rabbit will want to cuddle with the hamsters but the hamsters will probably bite. Even if that doesn't happen, they'll end up fighting anyway. There are just so many reasons why you shouldn't do this.Do not mix the two species please.

Rabbits can be very aggressive. I'm not saying yours would hurt your hamster, but it's possible. I recently introduced a new rabbit to two rabbits I'd had for a few months and at first they were fine, but now they will have the occasional fight. If I were you I would never trust your rabbit alone with your hamster. It won't kill the hamster to eat it of course, but rabbits have a good set of teeth on them that could do a lot of damage to a tiny hamster, even if it didn't intend to kill the little critter. If you're worried about the rabbit being lonely you could get another rabbit as a companion. But the hamster will be fine on it's own, they're solitary animals.

A hamster is a very small rodent and could easily be trampled by a Rabbit. Plus they are soluatary(sp?) animals so she would probably attack the rabbit.
If you want a friend for your rabbit buy another one and not a Guinea Pig. Obs' Syrian hamsters will kill each other if left together so I am afraid your hamster will have to live on her own.

well. usually yes. only because they last longer. bunnies are usually scared easily and constantly die from just being "afraid" such as these 2 bunnies i once had BOTH died from heart attacks. it was only cuz they got scared. they are very figity. BUT hamsters are sometimes hard to keep and clean after. be careful not to let them loose. 65% of hamsters that are lost are usually never found;or found dead they are very cute animals that you can get very close to. but each animal both do not last very long i would still say get a hamster but bunnies are very cute :)hope that helped!

One reason to keep them separate is simply for their own good health. Hamsters are far more susceptible to disease.(That many rabbits, guinea pigs carry) and will die much faster due to their tiny size from dehydration and shock. Please read up on some basic hamster care. Your pet hamster will crave and love attention from you. If eventually after adjusting your particular hamster enjoys other people, all the better. Some pets like canines are friendly towards hamsters, it does depend on the individual pet personalities.

The rabbit will seem like monster to the hamster. Hamsters are easily frightened and can suffer fatal heart attacks. Keep them separated. They are different species with differing needs.

hamsters are solitary creatures. they cannot live with rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs etc.
the rabbit will kill it, and even if it doesn't if the hamster bites the rabbit the rabbit could contract an infection from the bite
simple solution: get your bunny neutered and get him a friend of his own species.

Bad idea!! Leave them separate please!!
Ps guinea pig rescue centres advise NOT to mix them with rabbits as they need very different food (GP's need lots of vit C, rabbits don't), and that rabbits can break their backs, or severely injure them. Just because they have been mixed successfully in the past doesn't mean it is a good idea to now. Get another rabbit if you want a friend for yours x

Not a good idea. Rabbits will kill guinea pigs. To a rabbit a hamster will seem like a small guinea pig!

No. Syrian hamsters are fiercely solitary creatures, and likely to attack their OWN kind in a meetup at the drop of a hat, let alone another creature. They don't do it out of cruelty; they are more skittish by nature and one little bite can lead to a mess quickly.
If you are interested in giving your bunny a pal (your hamster does NOT want one), consider another bunny or a guinea pig. Surprisingly, they are said to do well with one another. But do acquaint yourself with the care of a guinea before getting one--they are labor-intensive, and a lot of the info out there is incorrect, so you have to research their needs carefully.
P.S. Rabbits will NOT kill guinea pigs. If properly introduced and socialized, they can get on very well together. If you just throw them together, as with any animal, that can spell disaster.
