All I do is request they serve in the military like me. For some reason they get mad. Why?

I say "Please join the military and serve for the Republicans who support the war." Then all look as if they have been drinking lemon juice. Why is that?

I don't think they are angry, they support the war because they know they need someone like you to fight for America, but they don't want to serve because they know it is a tough war to win and a very dangerous place to serve in.

Sounds like they only want to support from the distance, not looking to put their own lives on the line for freedom and democracy. My husband is in the Army and I was also, I am very proud of him. He is about to retire here after 20+ yrs of service, and 4 deployments.
