Like if you have 4 glasses of pure water and four glasses of very weak cordial, does that mean you have had 8 glasses that day or only four? I know that the pure water is better for you, but i just mean in regards of water intake for your body.

Cordial is not an alcoholic drink!! It is just flavour added to water. It is more for kids. Not sure what it is called in other countries but is is just like soft drink but with the fizz.

Yes, the cordial (non fizzy concentrate which is diluted to taste with water)is only a flavouring and it doesn't take up much volume. The water will be absorbed by your body very easily. Fizzy drinks aren't as good, they contain CO2 which your body wants to get rid of as waste.

The amount of water we need to drink each day can vary.
Factors that can increase the need for fluid, including:
Increased physical activity
Hot and humid weather
Dry indoor air and high altitudes, which reduce moisture in the air
Having an illness, particularly one accompanied by fever, vomiting or diarrhea
To be adequately hydrated you need to consume about 2.7 litres (91 fluid ounces) of total water a day. Since food typically accounts for about 20 percent of fluid intake, this means drinking roughly 2.2 liters (74 ounces or about 9 cups) of beverages a day.
While drinking water is often the best way to replace lost fluids, other liquids including milk, tea, soup, fruit juice and sports drinks also are effective. Therefore cordial is OK.
One caution: beverages with caffeine or alcohol can increase fluid output, making it more difficult to stay adequately hydrated.
For a healthy adult, fluid intake is probably adequate when one rarely experiences thirst and when urine is colorless or slightly yellow. Signs of inadequate fluid intake may include dry mouth, headache, light-headedness, little or no urination, and constipation.

Water with cordial should contain 90% water and 10% of cordial. so if your having 4 glasses of cordial a day say 250ml per glass you will be drinking 100ml of cordial and 900ml of water.

Cordial, as in alcohol? No, it defeats the purpose. Acohol has a dehydrating effect. Just drink water.
If you must flavor it, use lemon or lime, but nothing caffeinated or sweetened. Teas can have a diuretic effect, and sugar and artificial sweeteners can make your pancreas kick in with insulin when you don't really need it.
