Both my Kakarikis like them but I tried my African Grey and he threw it across the room. They don't do them any harm, my kakarikis eat them every day and they are their favourite food.
Chili peppers are also high in vitamin A so they are actually good for your bird.

birds dont have the same taste buds as us, so they dont find the chillis hot

some parot mixes even have chillis & peppers as part of their ingredients.

I guess if yours does then some of them do.
I can't imagine it would hurt them, but check with the vet to be sure.

I've never heard of birds eating Peppers, but from the other answers, I guess they do. :~)
