The Answer is C.
The WHO, assisted by the University of Wisconsin, published a report in December 2000 that stated the annual number of deaths per year attributed to climate change was 150,000.
In arriving at this figure, the researchers found that in the preceding 30 years there has been 4.5 million deaths caused by climate change, the figure of 150,000 being an average.
They also found that there had been approx 165 million cases of people having been affected by illness and disease as a result of climate change - an average of 5.5 million a year, a figure which has subsequently been revised to 10 million a year due to accelerated global warming.
The figures were taken from a 30 year period between 1970 and 1999, the median year being 1985. Effectively, the figures are 22 years out of date. With totals expected to double in 30 years it's probable that current figures are in the order of 250,000 deaths and 17.5 million illnesses a year.

The more I see Mr. Jello in these discussions I am reminded of lobbyists because they don't have the required science or their own science to provide an opinion. When it has to do with deceiving people about loss of life, it isn't funny.
The Canadian Government just released information that as many as 25,000 Canadians a year die from pollution. The US has 10 times the population and other countries aren't mentioned. The WHO doesn't consider the 100% toxicity ratio in newborns and the fact these toxins mean death to a baby without an immune system. The domino effect of climate change is going to kill millions every year.
I don't know if Mr. Jello is old enough to have children but the toxins associated with climate change are poisoning you as well as your family. Go to http://www.thermoguy.com and click on the picture of the fetus.

The World Health Organization attributes 150,000 human deaths per year to climate change and predicts that number is likely to double. Even assuming that number has any basis in fact, and even if it doubles, one's chance of dying from global warming is still only about 0.005. One's chance of dying in an automobile collision (e.g., while driving one's lovely MINI Cooper S on long road trips to explore the wonders of nature before they are ruined by global warming) is about four times as great. In fact, giving the benefit of doubt to the inflated number, there are about 45 more likely causes of death. So, even if the WHO is using their own inflated number as justification, choosing "Protecting health from climate change" as the theme for their World Health Day 2008 seems like a politically motivated decision that is difficult to justify on scientific grounds. While "Protecting health from pertussis" might have been a more scientifically defensible theme, pertussis doesn't cause the widespread fear and dread of global warming, and WHO is apparently more interested in using fear and dread to promote world health than using real science.

Depends where you are getting your information.
Some sources claim the UN claims that there are 150,000 deaths per year attributable to global warming.
Actually in the statistics I've seen, far more people die from cold than from heat. Those that do die from cold or heat die form cold snaps or heat waves. People living in extremely hot environments or extremely cold environments don't die any quicker or slower than the global average.
From Trevor,
"it's probable that current figures are in the order of 250,000 deaths and 17.5 million illnesses a year."
Thats why you're called believers.
I didn't give you a thumbs down though. It's a good answer - I just don't agree with your conclusions.

Probably about the same number that could be attributed to old age if they was worried about about a cure for that.

There are no deaths associated with "global warming". However if you want to scare people so they will follow you, then make that number as high as possible.
