I have this recipe that i copied word for word from one of my foods teachers, and i just realized that it has absolutely no baking time or temperature. So i was wondering how long i should bake it and at what temp. The whole pie is made by scratch.

Assuming this is a 9" double crusted pie, preheat your oven to 375 F. Cover edge of pie with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 20 to 25 minutes or until topping is golden. Don't forget to cut vent holes in the top crust!

Enjoy your pie!

if it is a deep dish apple pie my recipe calls for 425 oven for 50 to 60 minutes
regular not a deep dish i would say 425 for 40 to 50 min for a full crust on top and bottom slightly less for a latice top crust. put some tin foil around the outside of the crust to keep it from getting too brown and take it off about 10 to 15 min before the pie gets done.
also if you are making a full crust on the top make sure you put some slits on top to let the steam escape and before you put the top crust on yoru pie moisten the edges of the bottom crust to seal it so the juices dont leak out all over you oven . i would put a cookie sheet unter it on a rack under to catch any drips or a piece of aluminum foil just so you wont have a mess on the bottom of your oven.
Good luck with your pie hope this helps.

350 for around 45 minutes but be sure to wrap foil around the edges to keep them from browning too soon.Take off 30 minutes through baking. There are also things you can buy to cover the crust edges.

If u want to bake it in glass .... try this one ...

Cheesy Apple Pie in a Glass
Ingredients

4 cups thinly sliced peeled Red Delicious apple (about 2 apples)
2/3 cup apple juice
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons raisins
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice, divided
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon rum flavoring
3 ounces mascarpone cheese
3/4 cup low-fat cinnamon crisp graham cracker crumbs (about 8 crackers), divided
1 cup vanilla fat-free frozen yogurt
Mascarpone cheese (optional)

Preparation
Combine first 6 ingredients and 1/4 teaspoon allspice in a medium saucepan. Cook 20 minutes over medium-low heat until apples are tender and mixture is slightly thick. Remove apple mixture from heat; let cool. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon allspice, vanilla, rum flavoring, and mascarpone.

Spoon 1/4 cup apple mixture into each of 4 parfait glasses; sprinkle each with 1 1/2 tablespoons crumbs. Top each with 1/4 cup yogurt, 1/4 cup apple mixture, and 1 1/2 tablespoons crumbs. Garnish with additional mascarpone cheese, if desired. Serve immediately.

Hope you enjoy.......
