How can I control my mania at work? I get very intense (I am sure everyone is used to it now) and just can't handle talking to people sometimes. I am sure they think I am mental.

Is this such a bad trait to have anyways? I am able to get things done that take others double the time, but I don't have the best relationship with my boss at the same time.

Hey, you changed your name, but you're still in my contacts, so I see your questions (and I don't have many contacts -- I added you because you have interesting questions).

OK, if you have mania, have you been diagnosed? Are you getting treated? Because it's treatable, but you have to take the medication. Next, you may be in the wrong line of work. I'd suggest reading, "What Color Is Your Parachute?" to understand your skills and strengths and where you can apply them.

Further, you should try hard to understand what it would take to please your boss, and apply yourself to that. It's a good skill to have, no matter where you end up going.
