It depends on whether it's really love or just lust. If the man mistakes lust for love, the words might be said quickly. But if it's really love, it takes time to grow and blossom. In that case, a sincere man would not say, "I love you" until it was really what he felt in his heart.

Saying " I love you " takes courage and guts to a man who really loves a woman. Mostly, an overused word sounds more like being said out of duty than being said straight from the heart. If actions speak louder than words, then the ecstasy of hearing him tell you I love you one day will be the completion of the meaning of the words " I love you! ".

I've never said I love you to a girl before, I'm only 18 though so I see no reason to fall in love, the only other person I love besides my family is my dog and he's practically family anyways, and I know he's not a person but oh well he's my homie.

Those words should never come quickly. It takes time to build real love.
