No, despite the fact that castrating a male animal is forbidden in the Torah :-)

Spaying/neutering yourpets is the best thing you can do for them, or rather, their children. With the overpopulation of animals in our country, more and more animals are homeless and wild, yet still depending on people to provide for them (trash to eat). By spaying/neutering our pets, we can eliminate the sadness that I'm sure many animals feel being alone.

Nope, we've created a world where pets overbreed and then die in the streets unless we spay/neuter them. Just so we're clear, I don't have this view with people.

Spaying/neutering is one of the most beneficial things you can do for your pet, regardless of religious background. It not only reduces or eliminates many health problems such as prostate or mammary cancer, it also helps reduce the problem of pet overpopulation.

to be honest, it is something I have struggled with. I know that I do not have the capacity to care for any litters of kittens my cat would have if she were not fixed, also, the population of cats in general is so large that it is hard to find a good home for one cat much less a whole litter. I beleive that we, as humans, have been given dominion overthe animals, meaning that we are to care for them, not abuse them, see that their needs are met (not that this should be an obsession, religion, or stand in the way of us treating each other with respect and love.)
I dont believe that fixing animals is the way God would have us to deal with our animals but I also don't believe anyone is going to go to hell for fixing them. I do have mine fixed just for lack of a better way and choosing what I see to be the lesser of the two evils

No. They are overpopulated.
Personally, I don't see a problem with spay and nurturing people. Somethings gotta give.

no. There are already far too many of cats and dogs in the world to be properly cared for. If they're left alone, they go feral and start attacking people, and each other, as they try to stake out territory.
Why?

I see no problem with it all. It controls the excess population.
Hell, I don't see a problem with doing it to people sometimes, either...
