I'm not a hoe!!! But obvious they could save the apes by breeding with them at an alarming rate correct? Lol.

The same way all other endangered species can be saved - significantly less people. We have overpopulated the planet and as a result, other species are declining. We need to act now whilst we still have control because if we don't, eventually that control will be taken from us and we'll have to live with the consequences of our decisions, if we're able to live at all, that is.

Well, since you placed this question in R & S, the real answer is that they cannot be saved. God gave His son that mankind can be saved - not animals.
If you had asked on the science section, I guess the answer would have something about large ziploc freezer bags..
