All individuals have souls and a spirit, from the moment of conception, regardless of wether it's natural or IVF. Even with IVF, it's still God doing the creating - man is just an intermediary.

How can there be a IVF baby if IVF wasn't around? THis makes no sense.

Unless you're asking if there were little souls wandering around before conception....I guess in that frame of thought it doesn't matter if they are conceived thru IVF or the old fashioned way........they were conceived, therefore they are. Period.

Babies do no have ' separate spititual ' souls' They ARE souls, living breathing.
They can die.
(Ezekiel 18:4) Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.

Babies are born with inherited sin.

And sin is really just a falling short of perfection. It does not hasve to involve deliberate crimes or misdemeanours.

No, no one knows that for sure. There is no evidence for souls at all and there is no way to know if souls exist before birth or not, regardless the method of conception.

The Christian belief is that life begins at conception. When the sperm meets the egg.

There is no such thing as a "soul". That is an imaginary concept. Even you don't have "soul" unless you are black and can sing and dance.
