Love.

Because being married to a man just because he was rich just isn't satisfying. I would rather be poor and in love, than rich and miserable.

I'll just tell the truth. I'd marry for money. I'm not really a big believer in marriage anyway, so I might as well get something long term out of it. I'd rather marry for money and date for love. But, both would be a great combo. But...I see myself marrying for love anyway.

I have to go one level deeper. I would only marry if the man was a true Christian with Godly fruit. My last marriage(currenly seperate) failed after 10yrs. His attentions was never to live for Christ, but for himself. I will never do that again. I would rather be alone and happy then married and miserable. I get what I need from Jesus. But being married to a Godly man would be a bonus.

well I'm only 15 but by the time I do get married it would be for love, cause money can't buy happiness.

Love, simply because I can make money myself. Just get a job, and work hard. But can I make love myself? I think not.

It depends on how extreme the choice.

If you mean dirt poor, living in a rented metal single wide, and never having a penny to rub together, I'd have to pass, no matter how much I was in love.

If you mean filthy rich living in a mansion, with a person who doesn't love me at all. That would suck too. But I'd still be in a mansion!

Love. Excess money/wealth always leads to problems and more hassles--plus, you wouldn't have someone that you love around to get you through those hassles.

I don't choose between the two. One of the qualities I look for in a romantic partner is someone who is ambitious and sets goals for the future. I'm looking for a partner in life, not someone I have to carry through it financially.

Love. Money can buy companionship and sex but never love.
