Number 2... definately. Much more classy and slylish. Also, its much more versatile in the sense that you can change the way the furniture is positioned in the room much more easily than with a large L-shaped sofa..also with this sofa, if you get tired of the style, you can easily change the decor... The first sofa is too large and out of date. You'd be pretty much stuck with modern decor as long as you owned this soda....

I would worry if I didn't get to sit/lie on it first...some leather is uncomfortable, you know? And if your husband if you are married thinks the couch doesn't suit his bod you never hear the end of it for years and years, lol. I got my 2 from a company twin to Ethan Allen and they are great but some of them I tried there looked good but felt yucky. Leather lasts forever, what is $200 more over 7 years? I am usually frugal about most things but not furniture.

Defiantly the second one. The first one is a little out of style and you will get tired of a L
configuration. And if you move it may not fit your new room. the first one would be OK in a basement or TV room. But if you want the one with the most style and if you are young , go with the 2nd sofa.

First one, it's modern and looks softer and more inviting that the second. The second looks all stiff. The second one would look best in a snobby hotel's lobby where most of the guests won't use it. You can put the first one in a nice family room and if both of these were in your house, I'd gravitate to the more open first one.

It depends what your decor is and where you are putting it. The second one is classier (and my favorite). The first one would be good in a game room or room where a lot of people will sit and watch tv/etc. It looks a little more casual though.

The first couch looks way more comfy and inviting than the second one. If you spend time at home a lot, then definitely the first one.
