I usually put on some medication prescribed by the doctor (Benzoyl Peroxide 10%) and I always put it on the morning. The problem? My face usually gets oily within the day and I have to wipe it off but it still leaves somewhat of a gleam and it looks like I have an oily face even though there isn't any. Is there any solution that can help me with? My friends say to rinse my face but that would get rid of the medication and I don't want that.... Thanks everyone and it would be nice to name products :D

Use oil absorbing face wipes during the day, and if you need to use an oil reducing powder to make your face matte (Clean & Clear makes one in a little compact).

Also, try making one of these tonics (the aloe vera-thyme one is really good) to apply after cleansing in the morning, and follow with an oil-free moisturizer. If you're apply a medicated cream to your skin, it can really dry it out, which makes your skin think it needs to produce MORE oil.

oil blotting sheets, I have really oily skin this is waht works. I sometimes dont like using them infront of people, you can just use them in the bathroom. It soaks up all the access oil and nothing else.

Also, they make something you can put on your face over the medication that meant for oily faces, I know some face lotions say "oil control" but those didnt work for me, also I use milk of magnesia, you could put some of that on your face (only a little) over your medication too. Sometimes when it dries you can see a little white but just rub it in

Try useing the med. in the afternoon so that you can wash your face in the afternoon and only use the med. after the extra face wash. Do you wear make up base if you do look for base made for oily skin it will soak some of it up with out looking greasy. If you don't wear base don't start as you will break out.

For oily skin, use Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing sheets. You can use them whenever and wherever. They're small and discrete, it simply soaks up the excess oil from your face. It costs about 4-5$ at your local store.

If you wipe your face with just regular tissue, you actually spread the oil all over your face. I use Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheet, you could find it at any drugstore and they're not expensive.

1] wash your face and apply the medicine at night
2] carry some medicated cleansing pads to use on face during the day [ like after lunch, or dinner ]

Yea I know how you feel I have puberty problems too. I cry to my mommy as I imagine you do but never thought to whine about it here! That is such a great idea. What could be the down sides to taking something undesirable about ourselves and forcing it into cyber space to be addressed. Did you really go to the doctor for acne? Is it that bad? Just pray to the God of Vanity and all will work out.

I put that medication on my face. I would recommend putting it on at night before you go to bed...That's what I did.
