I think the US government has nuclear weaponary hidden there in which it does not want the public to know about. What do you think?Is it aliens?

High tech weapon or air craft development most definitely, not sure why they would hide nuclear weapons, it is pretty much common knowledge that the US has those and enough to take out most of civilization. Not sure why they would hide aliens either unless they are dead! and I can't see any alien being dumb enough to be captured by the Americans and wanting to stay alive, I mean just think of the embarrassment!!!

I doubt that it's aliens. I think they have done research on high tech aircraft like has been speculated for years. I do agree there is a chance they could have nuclear weaponry there, as a matter of fact, there is a likely chance. I doubt we will know in our lifetimes what exactly goes on at area 51. I do think some day though the public's demands and curiousities may eventually lead the government to release documents and files about area 51, though not likely. It may be a secret for a long long long time to come.

Why does it matter what's going on there? You can guess all day long but there's some things the public doesn't have a need to know about.
Besides, Area 51 is the world's worst kept 'secret' base. For all we know they keep it open for people like you as a diversion while doing the real stuff somewhere else.

My wife just did a paper in college on this subject. I love the stories related to the "conspiracies". Area 51 is used by the DOD to test highly classified military equipment. Much like Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland there are somethings tested there that civilians will never know about. If you look at pictures of our B1 and B2 stealth bombers they are very menacing. Stealth technology was being developed and tested there since the mid 70's atleast. The reports of UFO and aliens were likely a highly secretive aircraft being tested and the space suits were likely test pilots wearing jump suits and helmets with oxygen masks. If you were living in the 70's and seen our modern fighter planes they might look like space ships.

Its probably nothing. I am saying that because everyone knows about area 51, there is a base in South Dakota somewhere underneath a mountain that is the REAL area 51 that Nobody knows about. Speculation of course, but you get my point, somewhere within our borders there is a base so secret nobody but the top members of the dod know about it, and the Area 51 stuff all goes on in there.

Cutting edge research with technology that is beyond cutting edge. I mean we had the SR-71 in the 1960's the F-117 in the late 70's early 80's. So chances are they are testing out experimental aircraft which are so advanced we can not even begin to imagine. What ever is going on I have no doubt we are getting our moneys worth.

so it brings the nearby towns money for all the UFO freaks to stay in the hotels.
