At least Freud was around and wrote down his own ideas and no one doubts his theories...also Freud would have moral conflicts with the bible but its not a conflict because freud actually existed...not tryin to be rude but there tryin to compare a real persons life to a children book of stories which was written to allow the early men of power to control the early commoners/peasants who were curious bout things...

Freudian psychology explained a great deal about human psychology which can be therapeutic. But he didn't believe in the Christian God so he really had little answer for effects of sin.

Freud was a quack. He's only significant in that he's the first to start asking the types of questions modern psychology attempts to answer.

Well, there's real solid scientific evidence behind freudian psychology so.... Yes. Most certainly there is a conflict.

The Bible doesn't explain anything regarding human beings. It just makes up a bunch of nonsense.

psychology is humanistic in nature. psychology is man's way of trying to understand and repair the spiritual side of man without being spiritual. consider freudian ethic. from this ethic, the term "mental illness" arose. once a person's problems are deemed to be an illness, they are no longer responsible. psychiatry has let mankind off the hook - he is no longer responsible. this is why some people commit murder and enter an insanity plea - so they are not held responsible.

the bible paints a very different picture of man than freud or any other form of psychiatry or humanism. the bible declares that mankind had a different beginning than any other created thing. man was made in the image of God and God breathed into man [and only man] the breath of life, and man became a living soul
